TELEINVESTIGATION OF INCIDENT AND CONFIGURATION MANAGEMENT ALGORITHMS USING SIMULATION MODELLING

Abstract (English):
Purpose: To develop a simulation model for the management of incidents and configurations of a telecommunication network (TNC), followed by a comparative analysis of different operational scenarios. Methods: The simulation model was developed using the AnyLogic software, with a probabilistic approach employed for modelling various events. Results: Three scenarios have been developed: the operation of two algorithms together, the operation of the incident management algorithm, and the operation of the configuration management algorithm. The integrated use of the algorithms has been found to provide the shortest average cycle time for management. The impact of varying the Pw probability on the model’s behaviour and algorithm performance has also been examined. Practical significance: The developed model can be applied in realworld conditions when designing automated TNC management systems. It allows forecasting the effectiveness of different management approaches, optimising incident response processes, and justifying the implementation of algorithms in telecommunications facilities.
